What a bridge is
A bridge replaces one or more missing teeth in a row. Crowns on the teeth (or implants) on either side hold a replacement tooth in the gap. It's fixed in place, so it doesn't come out.
Why fill the gap
- Chew and speak normally again
- Keep nearby teeth from drifting
- Take stress off the rest of your bite
- Replace a partial denture you don't like
- Feel good about your smile
How it works
Most bridges take about two visits: one to prepare the teeth and scan, and one to place the finished bridge.
Members of the Grinview Smiles Membership Plan get reduced fees on restorative and cosmetic care, with no deductibles, no yearly maximums and no waiting periods.

Bridge or implant?
Both work well. An implant doesn't touch neighboring teeth; a bridge is often quicker. We'll go over the pros and cons for you.
How long do bridges last?
With good brushing, flossing and checkups, a bridge can last many years.
How do I clean under a bridge?
A floss threader or water flosser does the job. We'll show you how.
